conversations on relevant issues in our culture. Purpose, pleasure,
spirituality, politics, and more - all discussed in the Socratic
tradition of respectul dialogue.
Upcoming Topics:
- May 1 - Do we need higher gas prices to curb our oil addiction?. Read this Newsweek article and come to discuss it. Joel Abrams will lead.
- May 8 - Playwright David Mamet has written an interesting piece in the Village Voice that has created
some angst with his peers. Read his full editorial here,
then come ready to discuss. Richard Marsceau will lead the discussion.
- May 15 - Last Cafe until September. Come for a discussion of the Cafes of the year.
